ZERO-BT
High-performance & Low-carbon Forming Tap
Unexpected tap breakage is most often caused by chip-related issues. Stainless steel is particularly prone to work hardening during pre-drilling operations, making it one of the most challenging materials for tapping and increasing the risk of tool breakage. The ZERO-BT features a large web diameter design that enhances resistance to breakage and delivers outstanding durability. In addition, its special thread profile delivers long tool life and excellent thread quality. Even in difficult-to-machine stainless steels, the ZERO-BT provides stable and reliable tapping performance.
