End mill series engineered for high-efficiency roughing of high-hardness materials. The AE-CRE-H features a large positive R shape that allows for both large depth of cut and high-feed milling. The AE-HFE-H high feed type end mill reduces cutting resistance with its unique composite radius shape, and enables high-speed, high-feed machining even at overhang length of L/D = 7. Both AE-CRE-H and AE-HFE-H are configured with straight specification with consideration of regrinding, which contributes to the realization of resource circulation and a sustainable manufacturing environment. In addition, these end mills are coated with OSG’s DUROREY coating for high-hardness steel, which exhibits high chipping resistance even in workpieces of over 60 HRC, enabling long tool life and high-speed milling.
